1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SignSteve ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SignSteve provides an electronic document signing platform that allows users to upload, prepare, send, and sign documents electronically. The Service includes document management, signature workflows, templates, and related features.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Electronic Signatures

By using SignSteve to sign documents, you consent to conducting transactions electronically under the ESIGN Act (15 U.S.C. § 7001 et seq.) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA). Electronic signatures created through SignSteve are intended to be legally binding, equivalent to handwritten signatures where permitted by law.

5. User Responsibilities

  • You will not upload content that is illegal, fraudulent, or infringes on third-party rights.
  • You will not attempt to circumvent security measures or access other users' data.
  • You will not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • You are responsible for the content and legality of documents you send for signing.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Documents and signatures are stored securely and subject to our data retention policies.

7. Subscription and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

SignSteve is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
